Becky Johnson

Becky grew up in Michigan, but moved to Florida to pursue her passion for the arts. Unable to decide between her loves of illustration, graphic art and sculpture, she chose a field where she could utilize all mediums of art: Interior Design. Becky graduated Magna CumbLaude from the Ringling School of Art and Design with an area of concentration in the Business of Art and Design. She has since gone on to pursue her LEED AP designation as well as receive her Florida license for practicing Interior Design.

Having worked for years at both Architecture firms and a General Contractor's office, she has been able to gain insight and knowledge from both (typically opposing!) sides. Her 10 years of experience includes project programming, space planning, pre-construction design services, technical specifications, construction documents, material selections and construction detailing. Additionally, Ms. Johnson’s proficiency in creating finish schedules and vendor lists provides DDG’s clients and sub-contractors with the material required for making informed decisions on final finishes. She is also proficient in 3D visualization enabling DDG to better communicate building massing and spacial adjacencies to clients.
